About the book

Join adventurous siblings Will, Tilly, Tom and Kate, and the family dog, as they embark on a hazardous journey through time in Phoenix Tales: The Great Fire, a 21st Century nod to Enid Blyton’s legendary Famous Five.

The discovery of a mysterious hidden underworld of chambers and passages beneath their haunted house in the City of London, and the revelation of a secret map leading to the Holy Grail, transports the children back to the Great Fire of 1666 in a bid to restore the rightful path of history. Along the way they will meet a colourful cast of characters and must thwart the dastardly plans of a scheming villain who will stop at nothing to get what he wants. And it’s all against the clock.

Inspired by real history, people, places and events, this fast-paced and humorous tale is entertainment for all ages (especially 8-15 year olds).
